We Want to Hear from You!
BBSA works closely with the Columbia Business School Office of Admissions to connect with prospective students both formally and informally throughout the year. As a prospective student, there are many ways to get connected with BBSA members and Columbia Business School including:
Diversity Matters: Diversity Matters is an event discussing diversity, inclusion, and the student experience with the Black Business Students Association, Cluster Q (Columbia Business School's LGBT Business Association), Columbia Women in Business, the Hispanic Business Association, the Military in Business Association, and the Columbia Business School Office of Admissions.
This year's event took place on Saturday, September 16th, 2017. More info to follow on the next Diversity Matters event.
Spotlight On: Spotlight On: Black Business Students Association (BBSA) & Hispanic Business Association (HBA) is a full-day event for prospective MBA students who identify as Black, African American, Hispanic, or Latino. At Spotlight On: BBSA & HBA you will have a chance to experience a mock class, learn about the BBSA and HBA community and student life, hear from a financial aid representative, and connect with current students and the admissions committee.
This year's event took place on Saturday, October 14th, 2017. More info to follow on the next Spotlight On event.
Connect II: Connect II is an event for admitted students that takes place each April on the Columbia University campus. Admitted students enjoy a half-day of programming which includes breakfast, lunch, guest lectures and presentations by student leaders, professors, and administrators. BBSA hosts unofficial social events following the official program that typically include a networking social and afterparty.
Contact a Current Student: There are several ways to get in touch directly with current students, BBSA members, and Admissions.
